The Seminar on the Development of the Journal and Meeting with Editorial Council and Scientists is successfully organized.

On January 13, 2022, the Journal of International Economics and Management (JIEM) organized the “Seminar on the Development of the Journal and Meeting with Editorial Council and Scientists”. Present at the seminar are Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Mo, Former President of Foreign Trade University - Former Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of External Economics, Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Chau - Former President of Foreign Trade University, Former Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of International Economics and Management.

In recent years, the JIEM noted significant achievements. In November 2021, the JIEM was reviewed by the Council of State Professors of Economics and asigned 0-1.0 in the List of scientific journals. The Journal successfully participates in 6 prestigious domestic and international indexing systems (Crossref, Google Scholar, DOAJ, BASE, VCGate and VJOL). The Journal has adopted an online submission system on OJS platform. In addition, the final tasks to improve the quality of the Journal to meet the ASEAN Citation Index requirements are being completed.

Editor-in-Chief of the JIEM, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tu Thuy Anh emphasized the development path oriented to the international scientific journal of the JIEM and proposed a number of specific solutions and roadmaps. President of Foreign Trade University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan summarized the Seminar by recognizing the success of the JIEM in recent years. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan affirmed that the University leaders will invest and support the development of the Journal. In the coming time, the Journal needs to continuously make efforts to improve the quality of the Journal and assume the responsibility of Foreign Trade University to the academic community.
